Megumi and the Vampire

Megumi had it all - fans, love, and a successful idol career. But that all changed when she was bitten by a vampire! That is exactly what this story is not about.

This story is a subversion of the cliche. Megumi is a wannabe idol who wants to become a vampire, but the vampires refuse bite her. This is the story of her journey to do anything to achieve her dreams.

This story is set in the DragonHeart universe and is mostly standalone. The only backstories you really need to know - First, Megumi was once a child slave to the pirates and was rescued by Kairi. Some kids elected to become mermaids, while a few returned to DragonHeart with her. Second, about two weeks prior to this story, there was a big vampire infection in town. They managed to destroy most of the vampires by killing the evil third in command (which reverts everyone he bit, and who his victims bit, and so on, back to human form) so only the good first and second vampire remain.

This is intended to be a light hearted story.
